Complete rework of Material and new Collection!
I have been working on releasing my new USA collection the last few months and at times I have been very frustrated at the amount of time I had to spend on it, especially as I really want to concentrate on creating my art and go on trips around Scotland taking more photos. (Although I have to admit the weather wasn’t that great for going out and about) It did not help that I completely reworked my existing photos. I did a complete review, removed some, added new ones and removed the white border. Although the prints themselves look better with the border, when it comes to framing it just works better without. That meant reworking all my files. I also had to prepare my website for the new product range, which will now be the next step and I will be able to offer canvases, framed prints and hopefully more soon. Not sure when I manage to have this set up, but one thing I’ve learned is that it’s difficult to put a time stamp on it - especially when it comes to technology. You never know what problem you discover next!
I have been really itching to get back into painting more, so this is the plan for this year and I want to find the right balance of admin work and being creative. I’m just back from Germany, where I went to the ART exhibition in Karlsruhe, which is on every year and is was amazing. You can spend all day wondering about, getting a lot of inspirations, shaking your head on a lot of things and admire the inventiveness of other artists. It completely inspired me and gave me a lot of fresh ideas! And if there is one thing I’ve learned from it, it is to not doubt myself and be bold. Therefore I have added a few more images with what I call the added fun factor. There is never enough fun in the world!
