New things happening for 2020

I’ve finally got around to do a long overdue blog post. Christmas just always seems to completely suck me in and then I need weeks to recover from it. Well we’re now in the new year, full of energy and plans. I’ve been online now for over a month and it has been great finally having my art out there. Lots of good feedback and even some sales! I’m still trying to get my head round marketing and there is still lots to learn, but I’m getting there step by step. One thing I have learned in the last months is exactly that, take it step by step and things will fall into place. I’m not going to rush anything, stress myself or give myself an unnecessary timeline, because a lot also depends on things which are out of my control. And I don’t want to to loose the joy in making my art. So what have I’ve been up too? Well I have been working on new photo art using photos I made when I went to the States last November. I’m in the selection process right now as I have way too many. I hope to have them up for sale very soon, I’m actually quite chuffed about them. Not sure exactly when they will be up, as here is what else I was doing. I’m currently looking at other print companies to be able to offer different products not just paper prints. I want to sort this out first, before I upload anymore images. Additional to that I’m also planning to paint more this year and have some for sale as well - I’ve stocked up on my paint supplies and I should be starting to paint this week. Apart from this I’m also continuing to learn and explore even more this year. I’ve enrolled in some online courses as I want to improve myself and learn more new skills etc. I have no idea when I will do it all but as I said earlier I’m taking one step at a time on my creative journey. You have to keep inviting some surprise elements into your life - who wants a completely planned out life? Looking forward to see what this year brings!
(The photo I’m posting is one from the new collection which is coming up for sale soon!)
